Who we are My name is Jim Baltrinic. Let me begin by offering a brief introduction as to who we are and why we have started this apostolate. My wife Julie and I have five children and we have lived in Front Royal, Virginia since 1999, and like the area very much. We moved there from Ohio because our oldest son, a graduate of Christendom College, kept telling us how nice the area was and wanted us to join him and two of our other children who were also living in the area. This part of Virginia is home to many homeschooling families. It is very pro-life, and has an excellent spiritual atmosphere. On the same road, within one mile of each other, are located; Christendom College; Seton Home School; and Human Life International. Our local parish, St. John the Baptist, has 24 hour Eucharistic adoration five days a week and an approved Latin Tridentine Mass every Sunday. Daily Mass and confessions are available six days a week at the church, the college and at HLI. During the last four years of our time in Virginia, my wife and I operated a small traditional Catholic school in the Front Royal area, where we served the needs of homeschooling families whose students were in grades 7 - 12. Prior to that, we both taught for two years at a private Catholic school near Washington D.C. Before moving to Front Royal, we lived in Canton, Ohio for many years. During that time we were involved in many pro-life activities; owned and operated a traditional Catholic bookstore; sponsored several apologetics seminars; and were instrumental in bringing the Latin Mass to our parish there. My wife also helped organize and direct the Latin Mass Choir. Due to a health situation with my wife’s mother, we recently moved back to Ohio and will be conducting our operations from there for the near future. Our corporate office will remain in Virginia. Saint Cecilia Classical Productions is the fulfillment of a dream we have had for many years. For a long time now my wife and I have lamented the decline in the practice of the virtue of modesty, and the accompanying loss of respect for women that has occurred over the last four decades, and the disastrous effect this has had on our culture and on our Church. Today, when a young girl looks around at our society, she sees very little in the way of good positive role models. It was from this realization that the concept of this apostolate was formed.
